In 2026, the Parallaxis Universe is preparing for its most ambitious project yet: under the leadership of Tamás Ádám Horváth, the team will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest audio-only live stream. The current record stands at 55 hours and 26 minutes, set by Mario Bekes in 2023 – but Ádám plans to go far beyond that by hosting a continuous 72-hour live broadcast.
The marathon show, which will run for three consecutive days, promises to be a true milestone in Hungarian podcasting. Listeners will be able to tune in live to the familiar voices and shows of Parallaxis Universe and Parallaxis Retroverzum, as the hosts appear in unique and surprising ways to take part in the record attempt. Throughout the non-stop broadcast, audiences can expect not only fan-favorite segments but also new topics, exclusive interviews, and unexpected guests – ensuring there’s always something fresh to experience.
Ádám Tamás Horváth will remain on air for the entire 72-hour duration, serving as the official main participant and record holder recognized by Guinness World Records (GWR) – making him eligible to challenge the current world record set by the Australian Mario Bekes in 2023. Importantly, the entire broadcast will be in Hungarian.
A dedicated and expanding editorial team – including Médea Larion, Áron Kubatovics, Gergely Szarka, and Gábor Takács – will support Horváth’s efforts, ensuring that every minute of the marathon remains engaging and of the highest quality.
The Guinness World Records organization has already officially approved the registration of the attempt, meaning that preparations for this historic challenge can now begin. The Parallaxis Universe will announce the exact broadcast date once all technical and logistical details are finalized.
Such an undertaking presents not only creative but also immense logistical challenges.
